The Story
I Design opened its doors in Hinsdale in September 2000, and in the 26 years since, it has grown into the premier luxury salon destination in the western suburbs of Chicago. Through three major remodels and an ever-growing team of talented stylists, I Design has remained a trusted name for clients across Hinsdale, Western Springs, Elmhurst, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook, and beyond.
Now, we're embarking on our most exciting chapter yet — a brand-new, expanded space designed to bring you a full suite of beauty services under one roof. Adding in Davines Signature Head Spa, a dedicated lash and brow bar, and more — all in a beautifully reimagined environment that reflects the elevated experience you deserve.

Meet Michele
Michele Zayed has been part of the I Design family longer than most — as a loyal client for 20 years before stepping into the role of owner. A licensed cosmetologist with a lifelong passion for the beauty industry, Michele brings energy, heart, and a personal touch to everything she does.
A proud wife of 27 years to Nadim and mother to Marissa and Anthony, Michele is deeply rooted in this community. She's dedicated not just to running an exceptional salon, but to building real relationships — with her team and with every guest who walks through the door. Under her leadership, I Design is stepping into its next era with big dreams and an even bigger new space.
